Today I acknowledged the yearly anniversary of my life. I was reminded of the previous day's PT session. I spent the first part of the day taking inventory of what had been alterted and ached when I moved.
After inventory, I proceeded to prepare for a visit with Sue who was to visit our home for the first time. We had a pleasant visit and she brought a thoughtful gift. She also brought flourless chocolate cake, oh so decadent. I was able to enjoy the gift of giving her a copy of the holiday music CD that Tom recorded on his synthesizer and had give a copy to each of his children. We both expressed the hope that we will meet again, soon.
So frequently, we are met with other diversions, family, work, health. I often remember a conversation with a woman who was a retired nurse and also afflicted with MS. We spoke of the limited time each day. With a glimmer in her face and voice, she stated that she used her energy like gold dust. Carefully choosing were to spend it.
